The square bars are made of stainless steel 321 that has been titanium-stabilized to prevent the formation of chromium carbide during processing. This modification to Stainless Steel 321 Square Bars is intended to reduce or completely eliminate chromium carbide precipitation that can occur during welding or when exposed to high temperatures during fabrication or use.
