Corrosion resistance of our 304L Hex Bars in reducing environments such as those containing sulphuric and phosphoric acids is excellent. In spite of the fact that heat treatment cannot be used to harden Type 304L Metric Hex Bars, cold working can significantly improve mechanical properties, which is particularly useful in sour good tubing strings, heat exchangers, and chemical processing facilities.

We have seen a significant increase in the use of our AISI 304L Hex Bars, which are used in heat exchangers for chemical processing. Additional benefits of SUS 304L Hex Bars include their resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, which is facilitated by the presence of molybdenum.
