STAINLESSS STEEL 303    SQUARE BAR

It is made of nickel-base alloy and is generally resistant to aqueous corrosion. Stainless Steel 303 Square Bars are a nickel-base alloy that is generally resistant to aqueous corrosion. Stainless steel 303 square bars have exceptional resistance to both reducing and oxidising acids, stress corrosion cracking, and localised corrosion attacks such as pitting and crevice corrosion, to name a few examples.

DESCRIPTION

Grade 303 Square Bars are frequently used in the phosphoric acid manufacturing process in heat exchangers, evaporators, scrubbers, and dip pipes, amongst other applications. The addition of titanium protects Type 303 Square Bars from sensitization in the as-welded state, making the alloy resistant to intergranular attack after exposure to temperatures that would sensitize unsterilized stainless steels. Type 303 Square Bars are available in a variety of sizes and shapes. Steel 303 square bars are corrosion resistant in a wide range of process environments, including sulfuric, sulfuric, phosphoric, and nitric acids, among other substances.

Shielded metal arc processes with alloy welding electrode 135, gas-shielded arc processes with alloy filler metal 65, and resistance welding processes are all options for joining AISI 303 Square Bars. United Nations Standard S30300 Stainless Steel Square Bars have exceptional resistance to both phosphoric acid and sulfuric acid. 303 Stainless Square Bars are a nickel-iron-chromium austenitic alloy with molybdenum, copper, and titanium added to make it more resistant to corrosive environments.
